Cut, trim, and skive your leather smoothly and accurately with this high quality skiving knife crafted by Vintage Studio Shop.  The handle is made of curly maple and blue resin, with a hammered collar. The scalpel blade is made with D2 steel of 63 hardness.

Leather skivers are very handy when your leather project requires folding or sewing leather. You can remove thin layers of leather material with its sharp cutting blade. When the blade is drawn against the leather grain with some pressure applied down on it, the blade cuts through the leather, shaving off a thin layer.
